2 Weeks, Lifetime of Memories

Back safe and sound on the mooring in Boot Key Harbor

We are back in Boot Key! After 2 weeks of traveling on the boat visiting anchorages, historic sites and diving. Spending hours out at sea with no land in sight, sailing in the same waters where many famous shipwrecks lie on the sea floor. We visited the Marquesas, Dry Tortugas including Ft Jefferson, Loggerhead Key and a number of stops along the way. Through storms and 50mph winds, to steep waves that soaked the decks. It was a great test of our provisioning/rationing of food, water and energy. We ended up being more prepared than we thought we were and came home with tons of food, half our water and batteries topped off.

There will be a long update in the next couple days. We are still getting settled back in but I wanted to post something to let people know we were back, safe and full of stories and photos. Here are a few until the update.

Sunset in Key West during our return trip.

More to come in the next couple days!
