About Us

The Young Family
Cory (Dad)
Jessica (Mom)
Colby (Son)
Peyton (Daughter)

I (Cory) am currently working for Williamson County TN as a Paramedic. I am also a Firefighter and Songwriter with a recently released album available here: Cory Young (The Six Pack Sessions Of A Broke Songwriter) I am working towards a degree in Nursing, and with these skills hope to be able to help along the way where I am needed. I look forward to offering my services to clinics and groups during our adventures.

UPDATE:
I am currently working and living in Marathon Key, FL. Our boat has changed but our dreams have not. I am employed at West Marine and we are homeschooling Colby and Peyton. I am working on obtaining my Florida Paramedic and soon look forward to working part time in my field or volunteering locally or wherever we go.

Jessica is a Paramedic/Firefighter currently working as a surgery scheduler in the Nashville area. She has been in the medical field for most of her adult life and is a dedicated wife and mother. When we met she was working and traveling the world as a Flight Attendant for NorthWest airlines. Jessica is working on her RN degree and we are both excited about the opportunities before us.

UPDATE:
Jessica is employed by a resort here in Marathon as a server, she is enjoying the job and it's a nice change of pace. The hours and pay are perfect and and it's enjoyable. She is home during the day and she is the biggest influence on the kids schooling.

Colby is a straight A student with a heart of gold. Always thinking of others before himself he amazes me everyday with his thoughtfulness, compassion and love. He loves Baseball, playing his electric guitar and hanging out with Dad. He adapts to situations and thrives when faced with new challenges.

Peyton is a bright little girl, fearless and full of adventure. She is the child that reminds me most of myself (this scares me!) There is nothing she can't accomplish or won't attempt.

Along the way as a family we have fought and overcome many things, one of which was my cancer diagnoses. We have grown as a family and our children have adapted to change with amazing resilience. This is an adventure of love, caring for our fellow man and teaching our children what life is truly about.. Living.
My wife Jessica and I are just two hard working parents doing our best to raise our children into well adjusted adults. Which is exactly why we have chosen to embark on this adventure.
